One of the ways we do this is through our “Strive Toward Every Person’s Success” (STEPS) program, which clearly defines the requirements for advancement in the company.
Our “Strive Toward Every Person’s Success” (STEPS) Program provides a career path for our team members. NMC developed the STEPS program to provide our team members with an outline for career development. STEPS assigns each position a set of skills that must be mastered before moving to the next level. We provide training for team members who want to become qualified for a new position.
Over 70% of our management personnel have been hired internally through promotions and many started out as entry-level cleaners, including our COO. We believe in preparing our team members for leadership positions and giving them the coaching and tools they need to succeed.
